Earth Day Marketing: What Brands Should Learn from the Spring Season

Newly hatched baby chicks. Blooming flowers. Easter. The beginning of longer days.

At its core, Spring is a season about new beginnings and fresh starts. But let’s really look at fresh starts:

When we start something new, we’re imagining something better—and we’re called to be fearless.

And when it comes to the health of our planet, that shift from being stuck in old patterns to taking action is everything.

But while fresh starts are exciting... they’re also scary. They require us to let go of old—and often comfortable—patterns, and take a leap into the unknown. And for many of us, the unknown is intimidating.

Earth Day isn’t a one-day hashtag, but it could be a day—or season—that your brand inspires and facilitates something new.

So if you’re looking to market something during Earth Day, here’s a free idea. Take the jewels from the Spring season and ask yourself: What fresh start can your marketing inspire? And how will you help people take the leap?
